4 Seasons Faux Cyanotypes

I made this set of cards today using a technique I learned from Lydia Fiedler over at her UnderstandBlue blog.  It's called faux cyanotype.  I made a square stencil from acetate first. Then I added the base background color using Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink and a stippling brush.  Then using a stamp positioner I stamped the images, also in Blueprint Sketch ink.  I mounted the pieces on Navy paper from Reverse Confetti.  Then mounted the image pieces on cards made with Bazzill Cardshop card stock in the color Peanut Cluster.  The 4 season images were made by Rubber Monger and I have probably had them for over 20 years!  HA!  That can't be right!  But yes, yes it is.  The little sentiment is from another old company called Stampourri!  These were fun and went together quickly.  Thanks for the great inspiration and idea, Lydia!!!
